“Jan & Andy are wonderful, attentive hosts & the Casita has everything you need – and is exactly as pictured (super clean, tidy and lovely). Use of the terrace with it’s breath-taking view gives you a huge extra amount of living space. Even in January, the mornings were warm enough to have breakfast outside in the sunshine every day. Also of note, I stayed while 5 months pregnant and found the bed very comfortable. Torrox is not on the tourist map, though has ample amenities – either in the town (where the Casita is – a plaza where you can get Tapas, a coffee or have dinner) or down on the coast (Lidl, Aldi and plenty of restaurants, etc.). Andy & Jan can give you plenty of ideas of where to go & don’t be shy to get directions from them directly – as the Airbnb automated map is inaccurate at present (they are working to correct this). They were away the first few days of our stay, and their representative Rachel met us upon arrival and helped us settle in by providing cheese, ham, bread, fruit, milk, juice, wine, tea & coffee. An A+ stay!”

“The Casita really is a great place to stay, great location for exploring Torrox and the surrounding area. The casita was very clean, had everything we needed and of course the terrace is a great place to relax and is the most ideal space to relax. Jan and Andy were great hosts and were so helpful in advising us on places to visit and even walked in to the town with us to show some points of interest and help gain our bearing.. very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend a stay here.”

“Fantastic stay at Jan and Andy’s little Casita! Small, but equipped with everything important, lovely renovated and decorated and with a very nice shower. The location in the upper part of this quiet mountain village and the fantastic terrace really help you disconnect. On top of that, Jan and Andy are great hosts and will be happy to help you with anything or tell you about the village and the region. Close to many nice beaches and within 1 hour of Granada, Sierra Nevada or Malaga. Fully recommendable!”

“The Casita is beautiful, unique and stylish. It’s perched in the roof tops of Torrox which is a charming white washed village. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We loved the secret terraces which offered stunning views of the mountains and we enjoyed having breakfast there and spent our evenings bbq, sipping wine and stargazing by candlelight. Hosts Jan and Andy are a lovely couple, they were extremely welcoming and truly are passionate about creating a wonderful experience for their guests. We enjoyed many lovely chats with them and felt very inspired. On arrival to the Casita we had a well stocked fridge with all the essentials and more. Very thoughtful touch which was much appreciated. This place is a true gem and we look forward to returning, exploring and making more wonderful memories.”
